Black Friday 2010 Ads Announced

Black Friday 2010 doesn’t officially start until Mid-November, but U.S. retailers, including Sears, have already begun announcing upcoming weekend sales.

Traditionally, Black Friday is the start of the Christmas shopping season as a very large number of retailers offer big discounts on a variety of products. Retailers such as Best Buy, Macy’s, Toys “R” Us, Walmart, and Target open very early at 5AM or even earlier. Upon opening, they offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to bring people to their stores.

Sears isn't actually calling it a "Black Friday" sale, but is suggesting that it is a "Pre-Black Friday" sale.  A variety of "Black Friday" type product deals will be available.

As an additional incentive, for every item you buy, they are promoting "double" Sears Xtra points.

The Sears sale will begin on October 29th, and will end on October 30th.
