UK Scientists “Superbug” Claim Rejected

SuperbugIt is claimed that a new superbug resistant to even the most powerful antibiotics has entered the UK from India. India refutes this claim saying it was unfair to link the bug to India. Health officials describe this as malicious propaganda by the UK. The issue was further raised in Indian parliament where Indian MPs called it a direct conspiracy.

Patients who often went to India and Pakistan for cosmetic surgery treatments have come back carrying the bacteria that make NDM-1 enzyme say scientists. NDM-1 can exist inside differnt bacteria, like E.coli making them resistant to most antibiotics.

A UK medical publication says about 50 cases have been identified so far and it could spread globally. An official from the Indian health ministry condemns the report for its sensationalism claiming it was unfair to link the bug to India.
It also claims that plasmid associated with drug resistance to antibiotics is already present in the environment, and may be in the intestines of humans and animals alike.

An official Indian spokesman says a person could easily become infected with the drug-resistant bacteria anywhere globally. It is preventable by infection-prevention strategies offered by good hospitals world wide.

Indians also strongly refute the naming of this enzyme as: New Delhi metallo beta lactamase claiming abuse and wrong propaganda against India's emerging medical tourism. Angry MPs from India's parliament are questioning the study saying it was funded by pharmaceutical multi-national companies.

India's medical tourism industry is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Plus Size Women Can Be Goegeous and Will Spend Anything To Look Great!

HairThe reasons for the lack of availability of beautiful clothes for the plus sizes is more than just a lack of designers – mostly it is about the lack of vision of the shops who just do not get it. This has resulted in a massive change in the way plus sized ladies shop. No longer wanting to be insulted in a store 'we do not have anything in your (huge) size' scenario – they are finding the Internet more exciting. So the stores are going to have to make a major move if they are going to get into this very lucrative and neglected market. For most of them it is already too late because the culture of shopping on-line in the convenience of your own home or office is now much easier than trudging through shops only to be disappointed at not finding something special that fits your individual shape.
